I have an Engineering background and possess experience with software programming for more than 10+ years. There are various gaming related software pieces that I’ve done over the same period of time.

Product / Service Description:

Tome of Midas or T.O.M. for short is a revolutionary online multiplayer card game which is aimed at a global audience. It is a game designed, conceptualized and made to cater to all ages and gender group.

Business Opportunity:

The various mechanics, functionality, and features which are available in T.O.M. is different than any conventional card games which are currently in the market. The gaming market has been growing at a linear rate every single year. It is estimated that in 2012, 93 billion USD was spent by consumers in both physical and software gaming related products.

Based on the current statistics of people who play games around the world, there are around 34% of those who plays puzzle and related card games. So now, since there are about 2.4 billion household (source : http://www.internetworldstats.com/stats.htm) users who has access to the internet where 50%+ of them plays or has play games in their lifetime, that gives us a 1.2 billion households. With that number at hand, 34% of it yields 408 million. Now, further downplay the size of users who actually plays games and pays for it or actually has a working system to support it, 10% is a fair estimation, so that further provides us with a number of 40 million households. Then, we’ll need to further divide the possible customers that we’ll be catching their attention, give it another 10% and that leaves us with a potential 4 million household.

In short, the potential of clients that the game can reach out is at millions of users.

Revenue Model:

To understand how my game can earn a profit, since it is a free-to-play (a ftp game always catches the largest share of people in the market) card game, I’ve developed a ‘store’ area where players can use their real money to purchase additional cards, avatar (hero) cosmetics, other related social and game products. The prices of the offered products can be flexibly adjusted when needed. Do note that even if an account spends a mere $10.00 USD in their lifetime while playing the game, since there are hundreds of thousands or millions of players, the net profit after all deduction is still at the range of millions USD.

Currently I’m the sole person involved and coordinating the design and development of the game with some help provided from close friends and relatives.

Current Status:

Most of the investment made in my product up to the current point comes solely from my own savings. There is yet to have any realized revenue or profit since it is still in its development stage.

Product / Service Description:

From mobile app softnet waktu solat with 400k downloads, I have developed MyCafe app that detect nearby restaurant. Menus of the restaurant are available in the app. It is normal in most restaurant in Malaysia that the hospitality is very poor. To make an order sometimes can be a nightmare since no waiter could give attentions to customers. Thus, it is be a nice for customer with myCafe app can browse through the menus from their mobile and then place an order directly from the app. The app then will notify restaurant owner of pending order and the owner will have to confirm the order at the customer table. Once order has been confirmed tickets will be printed at the kitchen stations such as drink station and food station. The app is universal that any restaurant that subscribe to mycafe app will be able to use it. Point of sales will be rented to restaurant and will be synchronized with cloud server, so that user can browse the menu and can make order for pick-up or home delivery if restaurant want to offer such services.

This initial investment will be used for company registration, design office and production of five (5) to seven (7) running units for evaluation, testing and marketing within 1st eight (8) months of operation.

MInD help you to create, design and develop any product regarding technology that involve software development(PC and mobile), electronic, mechanical, control system, embedded system and robotics from idea phase to the prototype version or end product. Instead of that we also do some R&D to develop our own range of products. Our previous clients mostly from research grant holder from UTM lecturer and various faculty (chemical, electrical, mechanical and biomedical engineering).

With enough additional funding, we are able to target larger areas such as manufacturing of machines and plant systems in the industry whether small, medium (SME/IKS) and large scale.

We also plan to create space that can provide students, engineers, makers, developers, hacker, freelancer in technology use the equipment, facilities such as 3D printers, CNC machine, laser cutting, milling & latching machine, electronic making tools & analysis and so on to develop their product and do their works by becoming our members with monthly fees. This space will be call as Automation & Robotic Studio (AR Studio). Besides they can use the facilities and tools, we also use the same thing to do our main services that been state above. Equipment will be provided free of charge to be use by the registered members, but for some raw materials (ABS filament, aluminum, iron,electronic components) must be paid by the consumer to us at a reasonable price. Members will be given exposure before using the equipment provided. Assistance from our technicians and employees will be given for the use of heavy equipment (for those with no experience).

From this service, we can identify the projects carried out by members here that have the potential to be developed and commercial through assistance and negotiations between us and members.

Product / Service Description:
We are selling the mobile product such as Samsung, sony, nokia and other handphone brand except apple product. By expanding this business, we will supply apple products as well.

Business Opportunity:
The price of standard dealer for hand phone is high, a lot of people are looking for the cheaper hand phone with original product in the market, the shops at klang valley area will be our target for supply the hand phone product to the shop. We plan to trade handphone to dealers with huge amount.

Revenue Model:
We will do handphone trading to supply to dealers and part time dealers. Besides we plan to sell in famous online website.

Our strength relies on constant and speedy product innovation that meets growing and changing customer needs. We rely on our team of production engineers to design new products that cater to current beauty trends. Our strength relies on our marketing strategy coupled with product innovation.

Business Opportunity:

Cosmetics has been around since the ancient Egyptian civilization. The opportunity for this business is an inherent part of human desire. What we do is to fulfill the desire of people to look good and healthy. However, our extra edge would be our flexibility, leanness, and adaptibility to more sophisticated consumer demands in this industry and our better product range, innovation and focus at every step of our expansion.

Revenue Model:

At the initial stage, we rely on creative product launches that will establish our brand presence in the market. We target middle to high income consumers, especially older women who are the biggest target group for hair dyes. Trends these days include customization and we have a marketing plan that would provide customized hair dyes according to customer’s requirement. in order for this plan to work, we need a team of web page designers who can provide online features that allow customers to choose their specific color shade, moisturizing effect,fragrance, natural blend, botanical extracts with health benefits, and customization for different hair types. This type of marketing strategy requires great financial discipline, small size of company in order to cater to different customer requirements, speedy engineering team, good relation with supplier, cheap labor, good sales team, and an online presence to sell to customers worldwide. Our success hinges upon the receptivity of consumers to customized hair care solutions, and big, established companies with large manufacturing capacities cannot achieve this. Therefore, as a start-up, with adequate capital backing, I believe that it is a marketing strategy that is worth trying considering the growing size of this industry and the higher disposable income of working females, baby boomers, retirees, and young, affluent fashion-conscious adults.

Management Team:

We strive to find the best talent for our ambitious project. We will hire talent wherever they are and create a team of web developer, advertising and design manager, energetic sales team, and flexible, knowledgable formulation chemist.

Current Status:

We are at the concept stage. Without adequate capital, it is impossible to hire people to execute our marketing and sales strategy. However, product development is already underway although our laboratory facilities are inadequate.

Funding Milestone:

We need at least RM50 000 to complete initial 5 000 units and to assemble a sales team to make our first brand launch in Singapore. We have a creative marketing concept for our launch and what we need is the capital to see that happen. We choose Singapore due to the fact that there are more working females with higher disposable income and also to maintain our brand image as a premium line that establishes itself in one of the most vibrant developed country in the region.

Business Valuation:

We would grant all profits from the initial launch to the investor(less COGS, depreciation, operational expenses, salaries, taxes, sunk costs). We expect to be able to renegotiate a different deal for our expansion and growth stage should this project be successful,depending on future growth and revenue expectation.

Expected Return On Investment:

Our rough estimate on the cost of the first launch is as follows(5000 units produced):

Rent (RM800X12 months contract) = RM 9 600
Premium packaging = RM 10 000
Contract labor (3months )= RM 30 000 (approx)
Advertising and launch expense = RM5 000
Total cost = RM 55 000 (approx)
Unit price = S$20 (RM 50)
Break even unit = 1000

If 5000 units sold, gross profit = RM200 000(ROI=400%)

Note: These are rough estimates. Within realistic view, our initial launch may cost more and revenue may not be forthcoming. However, as promised, first 5000 units profit will go to the investor. Investors are advised to make risk calculations on their own.

Investment Risk and Mitigation:

The greatest risk is that our marketing strategy is unsuccessful. However, mitigation is quite straightforward in the sense that we could switch our strategy quickly enough due to our small fixed capital. Our products can be reengineered to fit a different marketing strategy. What is important is to constantly evaluate the effectiveness and profitability of our marketing plan and to have our production team on the standby to re-engineer products to fit new strategies.

Exit Strategies:

If, after the first launch, the investor finds this effort not worth the investment, he can call off the investment and savage whatever unused capital that has been poured into the project. At the initial stage, we try to make agreements that are as short-term and low expense as possible in case this project turns out unsuccessful. We hire people on short-term contracts and they can be dispensed with if this is called off. Also, our production site is can be rented out to another party and therefore the real estate capital may not be sunk. Chemicals are purchased at the expense of the founder. Inventories could be sold to interested third-party buyers. We do not plan to invest in machines at the moment.
