Woopa started in 2011 to develop a new solution to enable hotels to get more value from the TVs that they have in the rooms. Rather than just pushing the standard TV channels, the Woopa Hotel solution will allow any hotel to publish anything they want onto the room TVs including hotel information , promotions, eatery menus, and others which will enhance guest satisfaction, the hotel’s image and branding while help to increase revenue.

Financial Summary.

• RM 80,000 to set up a new factory with 600 metric tonnes holding areas and a small microbiology lab for soil and bio input analysis.
• RM 150,000 to acquire machinery that will be used for mixing and packaging.
• RM 50,000 to setup 2 warehouses in Kedah and Pahang.
• RM 80,000 will be needed to purchase bio inputs (bacteria, fungi) and composts
• RM 800,000 will be spent on salaries of 25 people for 12 months in the first year of operation.
• RM 400,000 will be allocated for marketing purposes that will involved television, radio and newspaper advertisements. This will includes appearance in live segments of popular television stations and also participation in expositions and exhibitions around the country.

Based on our analysis, we need around 2.1 million Ringgit to maintain a good working capital and cash flow. We are going to achieve this by seeking funds from any of these sources:

We are expecting sales for the first year to reach 6,000 Metric Tonnes which translates to 18 million ringgit in revenues. The investment will provide a solid infrastructure for Galaticos Arena to aggressively grow sales. After 3 years, the projected conservative sales of RM 1.2M and profit of RM600,000. The company valuation possible within RM800,000 to RM1 million after 3 years. Rough estimation of ROI based on 25% equity share would be in the range of 1.5 to 3 times should the company acquired at the desired value.

Investment risks and mitigating factors

We are asking that the investor be willing to collect their return of investment only upon the complete sale of the business. Should the sale of the business be delayed or become an impossibility, then a separate arrangement to pay out the investor will be agreed at a later time.

Exit opportunity

As mentioned, the Exit Strategy is a pay out to the investor upon the completed sale of the business. Should the sale not happen, then the remaining shareholders of the company may make arrangements to buy out the investor at a sum or rate of return that is agreeable by all parties at a later date.
