Term Financing-i is a Shariah compliant financing tool available for working capital financing, financing overheads or non asset based transactions in support of exports, projects or contract requirements and activities. Utilising the underlying Shariah principle of Tawarruq, the facility is available to Malaysian owned and controlled Companies.

Product Name: Term Financing-i
Shariah concept: Tawarruq / Commodity Murabahah
Underlying Asset: Commodity e.g palm oil
Agent: Bursa Malaysia’s Suq As Sila’ (BSAS) or other broker to be appointed from time to time
Duration of facility: Up to 15 years

Purpose
To restructure a facility under Islamic and conventional impaired financing
To part finance the purchase of intangible asset under a project

Margin of Financing
Up to 100% – For a restructuring facility
Up to 90% of project cost – for other purposes (direct financing)

Profit Rate:
At cost of fund plus spread.

Credit Support
Bank Guarantee
Letter of Credit
Directors’ / Shareholders / Corporate Guarantee

Security Against but not limited to the following:-
Pledged against cash collateral
Sinking fund
Landed property
Debenture fixed or floating
Assignment of Takaful cover
Assignment of payment proceeds
Assignment of Sales proceed
Other security the Bank deem necessary
